Victor is currently running a Master degree in African culture and societies at Bayreuth University. Prior to this, Victor studied at the University of Abomey Calavi (Benin) where he graduated with a “maîtrise” degree in history. His work and research are mainly limited to West Africa and more specifically to Benin, Togo and Ivory Coast. He is particularly interested in topics such as propaganda, political and economic cooperation between West African countries and international institutions, the origin and rise of regionalism and the history of consumption. Aware that development starts from the ground up, he works with some farmers' organizations such as Gledolè (Benin) as a strategic advisor. Victor is member of the Executive Committee of AP.
