Odile is currently running a Master degree in Kultur und Gesellschaft Afrikas (Bayreuth University). She is scholarship holder of Heinrich-Böll foundation. Her Master thesis will be on the cotton production and farmers participation in agricultural politics in Burkina Faso. She has a Bachelor in Germanististik and is therefore trained as German teacher at high school level gymnasium.
Her fields of interest include: Development questions related to Africa, African framers in the economic globalization, women empowerment in Africa, (In)security issues in the sahel zone, education system in francophone countries in subsaharan African countries. Odile is member of the Executive Committee of AP.
