Ngozi is a 2019 DAAD GSSP PhD candidate in African History at the Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (BIGSAS), University of Bayreuth. She has over 8 years of experience in primary, secondary and higher education covering teaching, research and school administration in Nigeria. This work includes preparatory teaching for final examinations and being a member of the Senior Leadership Team at a COBIS (Council of British International Schools) primary school in Abuja, Nigeria. Her work in the education industry won her a Excellence Award in 2015. She is currently on study leave from the Department of History and Strategic Studies, Alex Ekwueme Federal University in Nigeria where she has taught undergraduate history and has been an undergraduate student advisor since 2015.
