Ibrahim is a member of the NIGER CENTER for Strategic Studies. He previously worked at the Thint Tank and the new agency based in Ankara. Ibrahim Bachir is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (BIGSAS) in Germany. He holds a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations. His research focuses on Turkish foreign policy towards Africa and security issues in the Sahel.
